Storytelling and listening are very important.  Many Elders and other storytellers are invited into classrooms to share their knowledge.  However, sometimes the children do not have the language proficiency to understand what the storytellers are saying.  This sometimes results in the storyteller translating into English or sometimes the children are disengaged.  This section provides ideas on how to help children learn to be attentive listeners.
