Indigenous Languages Month

The theme for Indigenous Languages Month 2022 is “Let’s Go Fishing.”

To assist schools in celebrating the “Let’s Go Fishing” theme, a fish-themed resource package was sent out to all schools.  This package included copies of a fish themed book, “Fishing in the Summertime” or “Fish for You & Fish for Me!” (selected to represent the culture of the region), Fish Chowder recipe cards, and Checking the Fishnet Yoga instructions translated into the Indigenous language of your community. You can also access all of the Indigenous Language Month (ILM) resources from this page.
